Question of Privilege
(Withdrawal of Case)
Yesterday, December 9, 2024, I deferred my ruling on a question of privilege. Earlier today I received a letter from the Deputy Government House Leader (Hon. Lori Carr) that she was withdrawing her question of privilege.
For reason of the formal withdrawal of the case, there is no need to need to provide a ruling. I consider the matter closed.
Petitions of citizens of the province of Saskatchewan were presented and laid upon the Table by the following members: Tajinder Grewal, Leroy Laliberte, Don McBean, Sally Housser, and Jacqueline Roy.
According to order and pursuant to rule 16(7), petitions from residents of the province of Saskatchewan, requesting the following action, were read and received:
To immediately address the short-staffing crisis in health care.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 24)
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 26)
To suspend the collection of the provincial fuel tax from gasoline and diesel for a period of six months to help families struggling with the high cost of living.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 27)
To provide adequate and equitable SAID rates.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 30)
To protect the Duncairn Reservoir Migratory Bird Sanctuary from any proposed expansion of irrigation.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 32)
