PRAYERS
Petitions of citizens of the province of
Saskatchewan were presented and laid upon the Table by the following members: Darcy
Warrington, Brent Blakley, Brittney Senger, and April
ChiefCalf.
According to order and pursuant to rule 16(7),
petitions from residents of the province of Saskatchewan, requesting the
following action, were read and received:
To make no-cost prescription contraceptive
available to all Saskatchewan people.
(Sessional paper no. 41)
To suspend the collection of the provincial
fuel tax from gasoline and diesel for a period of six months to help families
struggling with the high cost of living.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 27)
To enshrine Duty to Consult into law by enacting meaningful duty to consult legislation.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 28)
To renovate SaskHousing
units that require renovations and to make units available and affordable.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 31)
To design a home supports program for older
adults in Saskatchewan.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 33)

Ordered, That the first report of the Standing
Committee on House Services for the thirtieth legislature be now concurred in.
The Assembly resumed the adjourned debate on the
proposed motion of Kim Gartner, seconded by the Hon. Eric Schmalz:

be presented to His Honour the Lieutenant Governor as follows:

Lieutenant Governor of
the province of Saskatchewan
MAY IT PLEASE YOUR HONOUR:
We, His Majesty’s dutiful and loyal subjects,
the Legislative Assembly of the province of Saskatchewan, in session assembled,
humbly thank Your Honour for the gracious speech which Your Honour has been
pleased to address to us at the opening of the present session,
and the
proposed amendment moved by Jared Clarke, seconded by Vicki Mowat:
That the motion be amended by adding:
And, that the
Assembly does not support the agenda outlined in the Speech from the Throne
because it fails to include adequate measures to urgently address the
challenges Saskatchewan people face regarding health care, education, and the
cost of living; and further,
That the Assembly
has lost confidence in the government.
The debate continuing on
the motion and the amendment, it was on motion of the Hon. Jeremy Cockrill
adjourned.
Pursuant to rule 6(7), the Speaker adjourned the
Assembly.
The Assembly adjourned at 5:00 p.m. until Thursday at 10:00 a.m.

been paid each month to EHN for Willowview Recovery
Centre in Lumsden to date?
