Lieutenant Governor of
the province of Saskatchewan
MAY IT PLEASE YOUR HONOUR:
We, His Majestys dutiful and loyal subjects,
the Legislative Assembly of the province of Saskatchewan, in session assembled,
humbly thank Your Honour for the gracious speech which Your Honour has been
pleased to address to us at the opening of the present session,
and the
proposed amendment moved by Jared Clarke, seconded by Vicki Mowat:
That the motion be amended by adding:
And, that the Assembly
does not support the agenda outlined in the Speech from the Throne because it
fails to include adequate measures to urgently address the challenges
Saskatchewan people face regarding health care, education, and the cost of
living; and further,
That the Assembly
has lost confidence in the government.
The debate continuing on
the motion and the amendment, the Speaker interrupted proceedings and adjourned
the Assembly without question put, pursuant to rule 6(7).
