2.     The Committee Clerk presided over the election of a Chair. Travis Keisig was nominated for the position. There being no further nominations, it was moved by Terri Bromm:

That Travis Keisig be elected to preside as Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Services.

The question being put, it was agreed to.

3.     The Chair advised the committee that pursuant to rule 148(1), the following 2026–27 estimates and 2025–26 supplementary estimates no. 2 were committed to the Standing Committee on Human Services on March 26, 2026 and March 18, 2026 respectively:
