1.     Present: Michael Weger in the chair and members David Chan, April ChiefCalf, Kim Gartner, Barret Kropf, Matt Love,* and Don McBean.*

2.     The following documents were tabled:

Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety: Response to question raised at the April 15, 2025 meeting

Ministry of Health: Responses to questions raised at the March 31 and April 1, 2025 meetings

(HUS  7-30)

3.     The committee considered Bill No. 28, The Public Libraries Amendment Act, 2025.

The Minister of Education and the following officials appeared before the committee and answered questions:

4.     The questions being put on clauses 1 to 13, they were agreed to. 

5.     It was moved by Kim Gartner:

That the committee report Bill No. 28, The Public Libraries Amendment Act, 2025 without amendment.

The question being put, it was agreed to.

6.     It was moved by David Chan:

That this committee do now adjourn.

The question being put, it was agreed to.

7.     The committee adjourned at 4:12 p.m. to the call of the Chair.
