2.     The committee considered Bill No. 4, The Workers’ Compensation Amendment Act, 2024.

The Minister of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety and the following officials appeared before the committee and answered questions:

That the committee report Bill No. 4, The Workers’ Compensation Amendment Act, 2024 without amendment.

The question being put, it was agreed to.

5.     The committee considered Bill No. 5, The Saskatchewan Employment Amendment Act, 2024.

7.     During consideration of clause 3, it was moved by Nathaniel Teed:

Amend Clause 3 of the printed Bill by striking out subclause 3(a).

The question being put on the amendment, the Chair exercised a vote pursuant to rule 151(2) and the question was defeated.

The question being put on clause 3, it was agreed to.

8.     The questions being put on clauses 4 and 5, they were agreed to.

9.     During consideration of clause 6, it was moved by Nathaniel Teed:

Amend Clause 6 of the printed Bill by striking out subclause 6(3).

The question being put on the amendment, the Chair exercised a vote pursuant to rule 151(2) and the question was defeated.

The question being put on clause 6, it was agreed to.

10. The questions being put on clauses 7 to 19, they were agreed to.

That this committee do now adjourn.
