2.      The committee considered the 2026–27 estimates for the Ministry of Environment.

The Minister of Environment and the following officials appeared before the committee and answered questions:

3.      The committee adjourned consideration of the 2026–27 estimates for the Ministry of Environment.

4.      The committee recessed from 5:32 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

5.      The committee considered Bill No. 35, The Mineral Resources Amendment Act, 2025.

The Minister of Energy and Resources and the following officials appeared before the committee and answered questions:

That the committee report Bill No. 35, The Mineral Resources Amendment Act, 2025 without amendment.

The question being put, it was agreed to.

8.      The committee recessed from 7:04 p.m. until 7:06 p.m.

9.      The committee considered the 2026–27 estimates and 2025–26 supplementary estimates no. 2 for the Ministry of Energy and Resources.
