1. Present: James Thorsteinson in the chair and members Meara Conway, Sally Housser, Kevin Kasun, Joan Pratchler,* Darlene Rowden, and Kevin Weedmark.

Substituting Members

Joan Pratchler for Tajinder Grewal

2. The Chair presided over the election of Deputy Chair. Meara Conway was nominated for the position. There being no further nominations, it was moved by Sally Housser:

That Meara Conway be elected to preside as Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on the Economy.

The question being put, it was agreed to.

3. It was moved by Kevin Weedmark:

That this committee do now adjourn.

The question being put, it was agreed to.

4. The committee adjourned at 4:02 p.m. to the call of the Chair.
