PRAYERS
The Assembly observed a moment of silence in remembrance of the Honourable Vaughn Solomon Schofield, former Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan.
Petitions of citizens of the province of Saskatchewan were presented and laid upon the Table by the following members: Noor Burki, Sally Housser, and Leroy Laliberte.
According to order and pursuant to rule 16(7), petitions from residents of the province of Saskatchewan, requesting the following action, were read and received:
To stand up for Saskatchewan and advocate for the restoration of federal Jordan’s Principle funding to support Indigenous students in schools.

To commit to a three-year funding plan that strengthens CBO capacity and stabilizes the sector.
(Addendum to sessional paper no. 10)
To work with experts and community leaders on evidence-based solutions to the mental health and addictions crisis in Saskatchewan.

To immediately work with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission to conduct an in-depth review of our public education system specifically around policies, programs and funding models designed to support children living with disabilities in our public education system.

To immediately prioritize the building of a high school in White City with definitive plans to open doors by the 2028 school year.
