PRAYERS
Petitions of citizens of the province of Saskatchewan were presented and laid upon the Table by the following members: April ChiefCalf, Noor Burki, Don McBean, Betty Nippi-Albright, and Tajinder Grewal.
According to order and pursuant to rule 16(7), petitions from residents of the province of Saskatchewan, requesting the following action, were read and received:
To stand up for Saskatchewan and advocate for the restoration of
federal Jordan’s Principle funding to support
Indigenous students in schools.

to sessional paper no. 6)
To commit to a three-year funding plan that strengthens CBO capacity and stabilizes the sector.
(Addendum
to sessional paper no. 10)
To adopt fair and effective rent control legislation that limits annual rent increases.
(Addendum
to sessional paper no. 13)
To immediately renovate all SHC units that require renovation, make units available and affordable, and ensure that all currently vacant SHC units are made occupied.

The order of the day being called for the following motion for a seventy-five minute debate, it was moved by Jordan McPhail:
That the Assembly calls upon all members to ensure public dollars and resources are used in a responsible manner consistent with all rules, laws and regulations while delivering good value for taxpayers.
A debate arising and the period of seventy-five minutes having expired, pursuant to rule 25(5) the Deputy Speaker interrupted proceedings.
The Assembly resumed the adjourned debate on the proposed motion no. 1, moved by Barret Kropf:
That this Assembly call upon the Government of Saskatchewan to support the development of a new Canadian pipeline to carry Saskatchewan and Albertan oil to the west coast of Canada.
