Presenting Petitions

Petitions of citizens of the province of Saskatchewan were presented and laid upon the Table by the following members: Jacqueline Roy, Brittney Senger, Nathaniel Teed, and Darcy Warrington.

Reading and Receiving Petitions

According to order, the Clerk informed the Assembly that on March 30, 2026, a certain petition was orally presented by the Member for Last Mountain-Touchwood. Pursuant to rule 16(7), the petition was found to be irregular and therefore was not read and received.

According to order and pursuant to rule 16(7), petitions from residents of the province of Saskatchewan, requesting the following action, were read and received:

To revise the practices of the Office of Residential Tenancies to remove tenants’ full names from its decisions, replacing them with initials or non-identifying labels.

To adopt fair and effective rent control legislation that limits annual rent increases.

(Addendum to sessional paper no. 13)

To immediately provide the support needed to complete and open new joint-use elementary and high schools in east Regina as soon as possible.

To immediately prioritize the building of the Brighton school with definitive plans to open doors by the 2028 school year.
