Reading and Receiving Petitions

According to order and pursuant to rule 16(7), petitions from residents of the province of Saskatchewan, requesting the following action, were read and received:

To immediately protect tenants and implement rent control.

To stand up for Saskatchewan and advocate for the restoration of federal Jordan’s Principle funding to support Indigenous students in schools.

(Addendum to sessional paper no. 6)

To commit to a three-year funding plan that strengthens CBO capacity and stabilizes the sector.

(Addendum to sessional paper no. 10)

Report of the Standing Committee on House Services

Nicole Sarauer, Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on House Services, presented the third report for the thirtieth legislature of the said committee, which was filed with the Clerk on January 13, 2026.

On motion of Nicole Sarauer:

Ordered, That the third report of the Standing Committee on House Services for the thirtieth legislature be now concurred in.

Membership of the Board of Internal Economy

The Speaker announced the membership of the Board of Internal Economy dated December 11, 2025.

Appointment of Deputy Chair of Committees of the Whole Assembly
