With unanimous consent, the Assembly observed a
moment of silence in remembrance of workers killed or injured in the course of
their employment.
Petitions of citizens of the province of Saskatchewan were presented and laid upon the Table by the following members: Joan Pratchler, Brittney Senger, Matt Love, Nicole Sarauer, and Meara Conway.
Bill No. 4 — The Workers’ Compensation Amendment Act, 2024
The Assembly resumed the adjourned debate on the proposed motion of the Hon. Jim Reiter: That Bill No. 4 — The Workers’ Compensation Amendment Act, 2024 be now read a second time.
The debate continuing and the question being put, it was agreed to and the said bill was accordingly read a second time.
By designation of the Hon. Lori Carr, in accordance with rule 85, Bill No. 4 — The Workers’ Compensation Amendment Act, 2024 was committed to the Standing Committee on Human Services.
