PRAYERS
Petitions of citizens of the province of
Saskatchewan were presented and laid upon the Table by the following members:

According to order and pursuant to rule 16(7),
petitions from residents of the province of Saskatchewan, requesting the
following action, were read and received:
To immediately address the short-staffing
crisis in health care.

To
enshrine Duty to Consult into law by enacting meaningful duty to consult
legislation.

To
design a home supports program for older adults in Saskatchewan.
(Addendum

To
immediately provide adequate funding to public, Catholic and francophone
schools.
(Addendum

To
take real action to fight climate change.

The
Hon. Jim Reiter delivered a message from Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor
which was read by the Speaker as follows:

The
Lieutenant Governor transmits Estimates of certain sums required for the
service of the Province for the twelve months ending
March 31, 2026, and Supplementary Estimates No. 2 of certain sums required for
the service of the Province for the twelve months ending March 31, 2025, and
recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

motion of the Hon. Jim Reiter, seconded by Brad Crassweller:
That
the Assembly approves in general the budgetary policy of the government.

debate arising, it was on motion of Trent Wotherspoon
adjourned.

Ordered,
That debate on the motion “That the Assembly approves
in general the budgetary policy of the government” be resumed on Thursday,
March 20, 2025.
